Set up payments with Stripe

Before you start

• Make sure you are signed in to the PlayList account for the artist profile you want to monetize.
• Have your legal identity, business, tax, and bank information ready. Stripe collects and verifies these details.
• Use your real artist or business information. This helps avoid payout delays and statement descriptor issues.

Setup steps

• Open Settings.
• Find the Selling section.
• Click Set up payments or Continue setup.
• Complete Stripe's hosted onboarding flow.
• Return to PlayList and check that Selling says Payments connected.

After setup

Stripe manages your connected account, payout schedule, bank details, tax forms, and identity requirements. You can return to Settings > Selling and open Stripe whenever you need to manage those details.
