How tips work on PlayList
Fans can send one-time tips from an artist profile after that artist connects payments with Stripe.
For fans
When an artist has payments connected, their profile can show a Support button. You can choose an amount, add an optional message, and pay securely through Stripe Checkout.
Tips are one-time payments. They do not create a subscription or ongoing charge.
For artists
To receive tips, connect payments from Settings > Selling. PlayList uses Stripe Express so artists can manage identity, tax, bank, and payout details directly with Stripe.
Once Stripe reports that your account is ready to receive charges and payouts, your public profile can show the Support button.
What PlayList charges
PlayList currently takes a 0% platform fee on tips. Stripe payment processing fees still apply and are handled by Stripe.
