Looking for group or individuals to start a band!

Title pretty much covers it. I'm a 38 year old backup/rhythm guitarist looking for a group to play music/gig with or looking for like minded people to get together and start a band in the New Albany/Clarksville/Jeffersonville, IN area. I used to play in an alternative/punk/poppunk/emo/grunge group years ago where I grew up and recently picking guitar up again. Musical interests are Nirvana, Jimmy Eat World, Story of the Year, AiC, New Found Glory, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Taking Back Sunday, Blink, Bush, and most other similar music. I don't mind other types of music, just never was into hair/80's metal, super heavy stuff, or most country...especially the newer stuff. I very much prefer mid-90’s to mid or late 2000’s punk/pop-punk/emo/alternative/grunge style. Not the best singer, but I love it and don't care to let it fly...haha. Just getting back into playing guitar, but doing okay, especially rhythm/backup. I really miss being in front of people and playing. Not shy about it at all. Just put a guitar in my hands, a mic in front of me, and I'll go let it go! Haha. I have a decently flexible schedule, though family and work obligations come first, obviously...but would LOVE to play a little and get back in front of some people. Let me know if interested!
