Hiya! My name is Jacob, and I’m actively looking for a band to be a part of!

I’m a self-taught guitarist of about 15 years. I’m also a very capable vocalist. I can also scream if desired. Playing guitar and singing at the same time is a breeze (harmonies included). I also went to school for Audio Engineering for a while. I chose not to pursue it as a career, but I actively do it as a hobby. I write songs and poems extremely frequently as well.

Acoustic singer/songwriter for most of my life. Branched out into electric guitar a year ago and I feel quite comfortable. Extremely capable of playing Rhythm Guitar. Depending on the genre, or what is desired of the part, I can also play Lead Guitar. Just don’t expect me to nail any arpeggios or sweeps (yet…).

I’ve helped create a handful of albums in a variety of genres as a vocalist, and one album as Lead Acoustic and Harmonic Vocalist. Extremely comfortable in a home studio or professional studio environment.

Genres I would easily thrive in: Punk / Pop-Punk Midwest Emo Indie Metalcore Emo Post-Hardcore

I have a plethora of Open-Mics under my belt. A handful of Poetry / Spoken Word readings. Zero stage fright. Extremely comfortable in front of a crowd under any circumstance. I have not yet met the opportunity to perform live for a crowd in a full band, however.

I would love to change that.
