I played drums in different configurations a bunch of years ago. Last year I picked a up a set of electronic drums - Alesis Surge Mesh Kit and accompanying Alesis Strike Drum Amp 8. I's been a blast. My chops are coming along nicely. I do think that given a set of songs to play along with, I can do them justice and beyond.

For anyone interested, send me a list of some of your band's songs and I'll look for them on YouTube and elsewhere. I can easily remove the drum tracks and become the drummer on this tracks for your perusual.

I have a wide range of music that I enjoy and absolutely love. I grew up with 50s and 60s rock and beyond. i enjoy R&B, blues, 80s New Wave and all kinds of rock, country and pop jazz. I am a big fan of Miles Davis and Stan Getz to just cite two jazz men that I love immensely. Caveat: I do have to work on my jazz chops, but I am up for the challenge.

If a song has a drive, I'm all in. I am in it for the fun, but aim for professionalism. I can see myself in a number of different bands. I am a lover of rhythms. I do love anything that is drum heavy.
