misjo

I'm primarily a banjo player (I also know my way around the piano a bit) and I write and sing my own songs. I like to fuse old-time banjo with pop/rock sounds. I think the banjo is an incredibly versatile and beautiful sounding instrument...which is why it's the best. ;-) I just finished my first real-ish project, which was an EP released on Bandcamp (albeit recorded all on my iPhone, haha). I'm slowly learning about recording and producing and don't have any professional equipment yet but will soon. I'm searching for collaborators, both in songwriting and in composing/producing music. All of my music is completely acoustic right now, but I'd love to bring the electric guitar and synthesizer into my/our creations.
