Hi! I'm Ryan - I'm a guitarist - I recently wrote/produced some demos (https://malpais1.bandcamp.com) that are indicative of the sort of stuff i tend to like to play - thought im willing to write all new music with new members. Im keen on being in a band that has some mixture of metal and hardcore (but not necessarily metalcore!). Something along the lines of Darkest Hour, Hatebreed, Power Trip, or even early Between the Buried and Me - something like that. Powerful riffage with at least a whiff of musicianship and perhaps the occasional melody. Right off the bat id like to find a vocalist and a drummer. I don't do vocals (hence the demos are instrumental!) and i like to have a drum beat to work with before writing guitar riffs (these demos were made with a collage of toontrack drum midis) . If you're a vocalist and you wanna take a stab at one of these songs, have at it! Send me some takes and ill mix it and we'll go from there. If you're a drummer and you have a midi kit, sent me some grooves and ill write some riffs and see if we click! And of course if you're a hardcore/metal band in the northern Atlantic area looking for a guitarist - i might be your guy. Ok, bye!
