Hello there, My name is Pete. I moved from FL over 3 yrs ago and used to play out all the time and I just miss practicing, playing shows, and just playing with a group again rather than practicing lead sheets with a met. Oh how I miss the pocket! I can read and write music, have background in theory(music minor Rollins College), can sing, keep in time, pocket with the drummer, listen more than turn up, great feel with various styles , etc. I’ve played in everything from middle/high/college jazz bands,top 70’s bands, original material, high school and college orchestra, and can groove with just about anything and most anyone. Played small jazz clubs in St.Augustine to headlining on Wall Street in Orlando for multiple festivals, “holiday” events(st.pattys, cinco de mayo, etc). no issue with crowds and listen to what’s around me. Have an electric upright bass as well as an American jazz bass. Personable, drama free and not a flake.
