CELINA

Hi! My name is Celina and I’m a 21 year old (Female) vocalist, producer & lyricist located in New York City.

I’m looking for musicians to start a band with, around 19 - 28 years old, who play guitar, drums, and/or bass. Knowledge in production is not necessary but is a plus!

I’ve been singing professionally for 3 years, mostly clean vocals, and am currently in the process of learning vocal distortion/screaming techniques & styles

First and foremost I am a vocalist but I love being heavily involved in the creative process as I’ve been producing my own music for 2 years now. Through working as a studio intern producing, recording & mixing tracks I have gained knowledge in Ableton, Garageband, & Pro tools, and I rotate between using the three DAW programs to create my own sounds. I also have demos I could share if you are interested.

I’m also currently building a studio in my apartment so I can record vocals and live instruments as well (I have guitars - acoustic & electric, keyboards, mics, a ukulele & xylophone - super random, I know ;)

I do play piano and am currently learning guitar as well.

Lastly, from a lyrical standpoint, music is therapy for me so a lot of my songs are personal, raw and honest (sometimes having darker themes usually associated with rock and metal) and I’ve been writing my own lyrics for about 5 years now.

I am inspired by Cinematic/Epic sounds, Progressive Rock, Industrial Rock, Alternative Rock, Metal, & Metalcore

Some of my favorite bands/inspirations are Nine Inch Nails, Bad Omens, Spiritbox, Sleep Token, Deftones, In This Moment, & Lorna Shore.

I’m looking for dedicated band members, who really want to put in the work to build something original, and who really want to establish a team/family environment where we can all just be our most authentic selves and make the music that we truly enjoy making.

Music is a collaborative effort and personal experience and I hope to make the band feel that way as much as possible. I want to create music that's authentic to us and that other people can find solace in, and I want it to be a place that we feel like we can call home and something we love working on together!
