Gabriella Magnani

Hey there! I’m a musician & composer in Brooklyn looking to form a band. I graduated with a degree in music focusing on composition, but I’ve been getting more into songwriting— influences include Esperanza Spalding, Hiatus Kaiyote, J Dilla, Anais Mitchell, Angel Olsen, Stevie Wonder, Empress Of, Joni Mitchell, Emily King, Radiohead, Laura Mvula, Elliot Smith, Punch Brothers, Dirty Projectors, and Janelle Monae, for a start. I would like to find like-minded collaborators and overall positive & wonderful human beings to play with, collab with, arrange and one day perform with, if we all live long enough to see the day. I’m in Park Slope and have leads on practice space in Gowanus, but with covid it’s obviously sketchy so I’d think we could start by getting to know each other and sharing ideas either outside or virtually. Hmu and I will send some clips of what I’ve been working on!
