Looking for a working band playing locally, or "out-of-town" when the pay makes sense. Pros only please, and please be good at the business side of things too. I've been playing bass guitar professionally for longer than I care to admit, although it seems like the more I play, the better I get. No bragg, just fact. I'm more suited for harmony vocals than lead vocals, but I can do both. And of course I have gear, transportation, dependable, etc, The ideal band for me would have a lot of 'twang' in it's sound. If you don't know who Steve Earle is, or you're not familiar with his music and music like his, I'm probably only going to be interested in fill-in type gig situations for you. I have played bar gigs, casuals, showcases and concert openers, both original and cover bands, and I can read for bass (slowly), fake, play by ear, and I listen. A lot.
