Alexandra Ayoob

I am looking for fellow music lovers who aim to marry the brilliance of old soul with ethnic influence and the technological possibilities of today. I am a jazz and R&B singer who was classically trained. I am interested in all types of music though and hope to explore and experiment. I am flexible. I speak English and French but have experience singing also in Arabic, Spanish, German, and Italian. Music is my passion and I want to work and create with others who also have contagious, passionate energy. My most prized possession is my 160GB iPod Classic that accompanies me everywhere. I have sung the National Anthem over 350 times in a variety of public venues. Dignitaries in attendance have included President Barack Obama, President Bill Clinton, General Chuck Yeager, and Vice Presidential candidate Tim Kaine. I was the youngest ever featured soloist with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra in their Broadway Pops series. I also worked as lead vocals with the West Virginia University Jazz Ensemble. When living in Australia for just six months, I managed to establish myself to the point of recording a 6 song EP for a private composer and be guest singer at several jazz clubs throughout the city of Melbourne.
