Heartstring Stereo

Heartstring Stereo is an independent alternative rock group hailing from the rural outskirts surrounding Columbus, Ohio. Building on top of a rock band foundation, our sound includes a cellist and dual lead-vocals, best heard on our latest set of releases which you can hear on Spotify, etc. Our female vocalist is moving out of Ohio in the coming months... While we love her and will miss her much, we're now seeking a replacement member to keep the dual-lead vocal dynamic going in our band. If you're interested in auditioning for the female vocalist role, we'd love to hear from you!!! We'd like to find the right person and bring them in on the creative process towards the next batch of new tunes to eventually be recorded and released. As they come onboard, we'd also be playing gigs together of course! The ideal person would be a female singer who has an intuitive sense of harmony and also the drive to write original music/lyrics. Creativity is a must - as we are an original songwriting band! Previous band experience is a big plus. Playing an instrument might be a plus, but is not a requirement. We're committed, respectful, fun-loving, and pretty hassle-free. We'd ask any candidate to be the same. It's a really solid group of talented people and a lot of fun! We practice 1-2 times a week; a weekly full group rehearsal in Marysville and sub-section work on the side. Members do their own homework outside rehearsal as well. We're currently gigging about every 2 months, which we'd like to increase as the new person comes up to speed.
