I'm looking for musicians who want to start a band, collaborate on music, and play around the city. I would also be interested in joining an already formed band looking for a lead female vocalist and songwriter. My style alone is folk/singer songwriter, but when I play and write music with a band, it tends to be folk/indie/alternative, and sometimes soulful and jazzy. I'm relatively flexible about what sort of music I would create with a new band. I have a full-time, 9-5 job, so I'm not able to put an extreme amount of time into this, but I am serious about music and would be willing to commit to at least one night a week for practice (starting out), and I would make the band my top priority outside of work.
